Ms. Shirin Bagchi holds a Master of Science degree in Geography and a Distinction Diploma in Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

Ms. Bagchi has over seventeen years of experience in International Baccalaureate and other international curricula. She has gained a good amount of knowledge in bringing about standards and practices in academia by empowering the teachers and students. She has also led schools through authorization and self-review and is eager to share her experiences in bringing about highest international standards.

Ms. Shirin is committed to the IB philosophy and believes that the training of skills will become the game changer for twenty first century learners and facilitators. She has attained Category Three training in Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and the Category Two training in IB Diploma Theory of Knowledge from International Baccalaureate Organization. She is also an IBEN member and part of IBO Theory of Knowledge Examiners team.

Ms. Shirin Bagchi puts her faith in training teachers so that the teaching and learning experiences change towards becoming active, dynamic and self-regulated learning hives. She likes to dabble in writing stories for children and poetry in her free time. One of her favourite quotes is “The highest education is that which does not merely give us information, but makes our life in harmony with all existence” by Rabindranath Tagore.
